Michigan Electrician ExamJourneyman and master, open book

Privacy Policy

What Michigan Electrician Exam collects, which is very little, and what happens to it. Effective 4 September 2026.

The short version

No account, no tracking cookies, no advertising. Reading the site sends us nothing but the ordinary server logs any website receives. Your study progress stays in your own browser. The only personal data we ever hold is an email address you choose to give us.

What is collected and why

Server logs. The site is served by Cloudflare. Like every web host it records the address, the page requested, the time and the browser type for security and to keep the site running. We do not combine those logs with anything else and do not use them to identify readers.

Study progress on your device. Scores, saved calculator inputs and anything else you save are kept in your browser's local storage on your own device. They never leave your device, we cannot read them, and clearing your browser data removes them.

The email list. If you type your email address into a sign-up box, it is stored by Resend, the service that sends our mail, in a list for this site, and you get one welcome note. Every message we send carries a way to stop them, and unsubscribing removes you from that list. We do not sell, rent or share the list.

Email you send us. If you write to us about a correction or a problem, we keep that correspondence to deal with it and to keep the corrections log accurate.

Purchases. None. This site sells nothing today, so there is no payment record, no card data and no purchase history anywhere in it. If that changes, this policy is updated before a checkout goes live.

What is not collected

No analytics cookies, no advertising or social media trackers, no fingerprinting, no location beyond what a server log shows, and nothing from anyone under thirteen on purpose. The site is written for adults preparing for a professional license.

Who sees the data

Cloudflare (hosting) and Resend (email) process data for us under their own terms. We disclose personal data only when the law requires it. We do not sell personal data and have not sold it.

Your choices and rights

Unsubscribe with the link in any message. Delete your local progress by clearing your browser data. To see, correct or delete the email address we hold, or to ask what we hold, write to [email protected] and we answer within thirty days. Residents of states with privacy laws that grant access, correction, deletion or opt-out rights may exercise them the same way; we do not discriminate for doing so.

Keeping it safe

The site is served over HTTPS and the servers hold no customer database. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell affected people if we learn of a breach involving their data.

Changes

We may update this policy by posting a new version with a new date. Questions: [email protected].
